Facing behavioral euthanasia with
courage, compassion, and empathy.
Behavioral euthanasia of a beloved pet is one of the most difficult situations faced by companion animal guardians. Behavioral Euthanasia Empathy Project seeks to compassionately provide resources and perspectives without pretense or judgement, to echo the voices of those that have been through behavioral euthanasia, and to let those currently facing a difficult euthanasia know that they are not alone.
BEHAVIORAL EUTHANASIA BLOG
Our behavioral euthanasia blog is a place to read perspectives, reflections, and experiences of companion animal guardians and professionals that have faced behavioral euthanasia.
IN LOVING MEMORY
There is no such thing as a bad pet. Companion animals that have been euthanaized for behavioral reasons are loved and cherished just like any other beloved pet. Behavioral Euthanasia Empathy Project honors these animals and their struggle. Our memorial page is a place to share kind words and photos in memoriam.
BEHAVIORAL EUTHANASIA RESOURCES
Our behavioral euthanasia resources page is a place to find help for compassion fatigue, euthanasia algorithms, grief support, and animals professionals that may be able to help.
